Prenatal Chiropractic
Early in a woman’s pregnancy, her center of gravity begins to shift forward to the front of her pelvis.  Although a woman's pelvis is designed for pregnancy and childbirth, the displaced weight still increases the stress on her joints and muscles.  As the baby grows in size, this weight increases the curvature of her low back, which can increase the stress to the spinal discs.   Any imbalances present in the woman’s pelvis prior to pregnancy become greatly exaggerated throughout her pregnancy.   This can cause new aches and pains, difficulty with daily tasks, or make it harder to exercise or sleep. Women who are fit have an easier time conceiving and have a more comfortable pregnancy with fewer complications.
The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologist (ACOG) states that exercise in pregnancy helps with comfort, constipation, reduces aches such as back pains, helps prevent gestational diabetes, helps with bloating and swelling while also improving mood, energy and sleep. Exercise in pregnancy is also an important part of preparing your body for childbirth and motherhood by building endurance and strength. Regular exercise also helps keep you fit during pregnancy and may improve your ability to cope with the pain of labor. This will make it easier for you to get back in shape after the baby is born. You should not, however, exercise to lose weight while you are pregnant.

A private Yoga session is a great way to be introduced to Yoga, if you have specific goals, injuries that need special attention, or want a class designed just for you! Sessions are typically one hour of one on one training and practice with a Certified Yoga Teacher. The class will be designed specially for your body, needs and goals.

Booty Camp
A circuit style class focused on cardiovascular health, weight loss and strength training. Fit balls, steps, bands and body weight will be used to give women an intense, motivating workout. This class is open to both pre and postnatal women and modifications will be offered for expectant mothers. Tennis shoes required.

Fusion is a fun and unique class that combines Power Yoga, cardio, weight training, Pilates & Barre. This energetic and challenging class is great for sculpting, building strength, stamina, balance and flexibility throughout your pregnancy as well as postnatal for weight loss. This class can be as challenging as you want! Pelvic floor exercises will be directed for our prenatal women and abdominal exercises will be the focus for our postnatal mothers. Tennis shoes required. Pre-crawlers are welcome in class if childcare is not available to you.

Barre Sculpt
Barre classes are fun and invigorating classes that are focused on sculpting long, lean muscles, building strength, creating a strong core and a toned lifted booty. Barre classes are also a great cardiovascular workout that incorporates flexibility.
The Barre Sculpt classes are designed for prenatal and postnatal women. Postnatal mamas are welcome to bring their babies to class. The Barre classes are a challenging workout for women in all stages, even with older children since you use your body weight you will always be able to move deeper and work harder in the exercises as you get stronger.
