BYOBaby
Mommy & Me Yoga
An excellent
class for busy mothers, allowing moms to enjoy yoga, introduce
their baby to the practice, and promote mother and baby
bonding. Yoga poses for mom promote wellness specific to
post-partum bodies, and interactive poses for baby help
with development and establishing good sleeping habits,
as well as relief of reflux, gas and colic. This class is
ideal for babies ages 6 weeks to crawling.
Post Belly Yoga
This special class is designed for the postpartum period
after mom has given birth to help her transition back into
her desired workout routine. The postures taught in this
class encourage your body to come back together, bringing
your muscles, bones and ligaments in the proper alignment.
Hip openers and wide stance postures are avoided in this
class. Come surround yourself with the comfort and support
of other women in an open environment where sharing birth,
baby and postpartum stories are welcome. Please check with
your doctor or midwife before starting physical activity
after birth. Infants are welcome although they will not
be participating in class.

Family Yoga Series
with Sara Guenther
Family yoga provides an excellent space for the entire family to bond and connect while simultaneously stretching, strengthening, and relaxing your body. Through the practice of yoga, children will naturally develop more inner body awareness and will enjoy having a space to creatively express themselves through movement, breath, and intention. Families will leave with tools to continue the yogic journey off of their mats including songs, stories, games, affirmations in motions (sun salutation chants), new poses to practice at home, and resting/savasana exercises. Share the practice of yoga with your child in a fun, playful space and observe how your entire family grows and evolves. This class is appropriate for crawlers-age five and parents/caregivers will practice alongside their children. No yoga experience is necessary.
